Description: Regional development planning in the Stockholm Region is focused on stimulating development in several regional cores. The report describes general regional conditions, planning systems, spatial strategies in Stockhom, Munich, Dublin and Lyon and development concepts for the 5 metropolitan areas of Berlin, Boston, Lyon, Dublin and Munich. These areas either have a polycentric structure or have development planning focused on polycentrism.There are also structural similarities, economic, physical, demographic, between them and the Stockholm Region. There is an in-depth study of the Dublin and Munich regions.
